Yesterday my friend Jessica and I decided to go on a spontaneous adventure to the outlet mall nearby. It might not have been a big deal but taking your kids to do anything is pretty much an adventure in my mind. And it ended up being more fun than we anticipated! :)
We were there for a couple of hours until the boys were ready to go and take naps. We headed to the car and realized we lost the keys. We searched and searched--we dug through trash and retraced every step. Still no luck. It really wasn't a big deal--we just got to hang out there for a couple more hours than we originally planned.
After taking very short naps, ice cream cones really helped the boys perk up. Pretty sure it helped the moms too... :)
This was one outing we thought we were safe to leave our cameras at home. Much to our dismay we really wish we had them. These few pics were the only ones taken with my iphone. Cute people make for cute pics though.
This is Jackson's best friend. It is so fun to see them play together!
My little stinker ended up needing new pants! Luckily we were at an outlet mall that had at least 3 stores to pick some up at. I forgot my wallet however so I am very grateful my dear friend fronted me some dough. We were tired but I think we made the most of it and ended up with a really fun memory!
Jackie you are such a sweet heart! Thank you for helping me turn lemons into lemonade. I was lucky I was with you when this happened. I will always look back on this day and smile. Thanks for being such a great friend and not judging. I look forward to making lots more memories...hopefully no more lost keys will be involved. Have a good weekend:)
